The U.S. consumes more energy than in any other country in the world. Of the 100.2 quads of primary energy consumed in the U.S. in 2005, 40% was consumed in residential and commercial buildings, 32% in industry, and 28% in transportation1. Mindful of the impact that consuming energy at this rate has on the economy and the environment, it is the mission of Lexicon Energy Consulting, Inc. to advance energy conservation and efficiency.

Lexicon Energy Consulting, Inc. is a woman-owned business formed in 2007 by Sharon Jones, P.E. and Arlene Marge, M.S. Sharon and Arlene met in 1991 working together in the demand-side management consulting business. Both have dedicated their careers to energy conservation and efficiency and each has 20 years experience providing technical energy conservation expertise to a wide variety of industries and organizations.

By keeping the firm small, the principals are able to give every client unsurpassed personal attention. Lexicon has already brought exceptional results to a diversity of markets including utilities, state and national government agencies, non-profit organizations, manufacturing facilities, and commercial properties. We look forward to the opportunity to help your business or organization.
